I’m A Celeb’s Shane Richie and Vernon Kay dubbed ‘snakes’ for ‘backstabbing’

Fans of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! have slammed Shane Richie and Vernon Kay for being "snakes".

During last night's episode, the pair angered viewers after they moaned about Jessica Plummer and AJ Pritchard 's effort in the latest Buck Tucker Trial which saw them only bring back six stars.

Out of the 12 stars they could have got to feed the camp between them they only bought back six. Jessica managed to nab one star while AJ grabbed the other five.

But Shane and Vernon were not happy about it and took off privately in the camp to have a little moan about their campmates.

Shane said how he predicted Jessica would be taking part in the next trial after nabbing just one star.

Vernon replied: "AJ said she was petrified."

Shane said: "Jessica and Jordan, cut from the same cloth aren't they…"

Continued Vernon: "But it's like… why?"

Agreeing, Shane said: "I say this every year I watch it. Why'd you come and do it? You know what's going to happen."

Vernon added: "The more you show the more they're going to give it to you."

However, fans were hating the conversation and rushed to Twitter to call the pair out.

One tweeted: "Shane and Vernon for every trial now after that behaviour #ImACeleb"

A second said: "Shane’s complaining like he could do any better #ImACeleb."

Another commented: "Man Shane is such a snake talking about them behind their backs like that."

While a fourth chimed in: "Vernon and Shane proper backstabbing and spilling the tea #ImACeleb."

Viewers then couldn't hide their joy as Shane was picked to do the next trial instead of Jessica.

"Shane being voted in for the trial = karma #ImACeleb" one fan tweeted.

Added a second: "AHAHAHA SHANE SAYING IT WOULD BE JESS AND BEING VOTED IN, KARMA MY DUDE #ImACeleb"
