Kate Garraway donned a pair of glasses when she appeared alongside co-host Ben Shephard on Good Morning Britain. Ben, 46, couldn’t help but comment on the 54-year-old presenter’s decision to wear her glasses on Friday’s episode of the ITV show. Kate explained to viewers “bits of me are falling apart” as she opened up on her sore eyes.
Kate wore a bold pair of black thick-rimmed specs during the episode which did not go unnoticed by co-host Ben.
She told Ben and the Good Morning Britain viewers: “Everyone, be sensible, come on, calm down.”
Ben asked Kate: “What’s going on with the [glasses]?”
A shocked Kate replied: “I thought you liked me wearing glasses?”
Ben explained he liked Kate wearing glasses, but didn’t expect her to wear them live on air.
Kate explained she was wearing her specs on the programme because she had a “very sore eye”.
She said: “I mean, bits of me are now falling apart.”
