Kim Kardashian bans North, 6, from wearing make-up after it caused a ‘big fight’ with Kanye West – The Sun

KIM Kardashian has revealed a major U-Turn to ban eldest daughter North, aged six, from wearing make-up after a "big fight" with Kanye West.

The parents disagreed on whether the sassy schoolgirl should be allowed to wear a bit of blusher and mascara, following in the footsteps of her make-up loving mum.

Kim, 39, previously posted shots showing North all dolled up onto her Instagram page, including one image showing her wearing lip gloss, mascara and neon eyeliner.

Another show saw her striking a dramatic look in black lipstick

Talking to Australian talk show The Sunday Project this weekend, Kim said of the issue: "About the makeup thing, I don't think a kid should really be wearing makeup either, you know

"I think sometimes if you don't understand a rule, it is good to learn and ask your friends. In my case I asked my siblings what they would do."

Kim told how herself and the rapper, who is a born again Christian and has strict views on North wearing make-up until she is a teen, came to an agreement she would not be allowed the cosmetics.

She added to the TV show: "We  bounce ideas around and develop a way that we're going to parent and rules that we have. And we always have to stay aligned.'

Last month, the Sun Online reported how the make-up issue had caused a division between the reality TV stars.

Kim told E! News how "North is trying to get in on the make-up but she's being blocked heavily."

She added: "It's a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now but it is what's best.

"I think as a parent you just learn and figure it out as you go and we realised we didn't really want her to wear make-up at a young age but she sees her mom putting on lipstick and lip gloss."

Kanye, 42, who has just released a new album called Jesus is King, has ruled the youngster can't touch cosmetics until she is a teen.

She previously said: "I think he had it [with North's make-up so] he changed all the rule.

"I'd let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I'd let her wear a red lip, or I'd let her do one pop of something. I'd let her if she's wearing a black dress, a black lip."

As well as North, Kim and Kanye also share son Saint, three, daughter Chicago, 21 months, and five-months-old son Psalm.
