How many seasons of Kingdom on Netflix could there be?

Speaking to Phil Star, director Kim Seong-hun credited the idea of the zombies being able to attack during the daytime to the writer.
He said: “I would have to say that that was actually the part of the master plan that has been created by writer Kim Eun-hee from about two years prior.
“Just like the universe was created first with the sun and the planets and earth, this was all the masterplan of the great writer, how they reacted at different temperatures and how they, as you said, have different mechanics in sesaon two.”
Mr Seong-hun also admitted they are hoping to make a flurry of seasons.
He said: “Hopefully, she will continue to surprise you with the shocking points all the way until Season 10.”

When questioned about the possibility of a third season, Seong-hun then continued: “As you all know, production of season three is dependent on the success of season two.
“If you support and love season two, I’m sure we’ll be able to bring you season three with a greater world.
“I personally hope that the series continues all the way to Season 10.”
So the Kingdom series could be around for several years to come but there are still question marks hanging over the possibility of a third series.

Kingdom series three was released this month, roughly around one year after the first season was out on the streaming service.
So far, no news has been announced in regard to whether Kingdom will be making a comeback.
However, as the show has just been released, it will take a little bit longer before Netflix makes a decision on if it will be renewed or cancelled.
The platform usually takes around one month to announce the future of a series so fans will have to wait until Netflix makes a judgement on how well series two has done, taking both the viewing figures and rates of engagement into account.
