Laura Kuenssberg replaces Andrew Marr on Sunday Morning show Its an honour
BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg will put her years of experience on the BBC to use on BBC One’s Sunday Morning show from September. She took to social media to announce the news and share her excitement about taking over from Sophie Raworth, who currently helms the show after Andrew Marr stepped away from the early morning slot.
Laura has been in the public eye for years with her extensive coverage of all things parliament for the BBC.
When Andrew left his BBC show – The Andrew Marr Show – at the end of 2021 it was unclear who the new host would be and for how long.
Posting on social media, Laura tweeted: “I’m extremely happy to say that I’ll be in the BBC politics chair on Sunday mornings from September.
“It’s a genuine honour and real thrill to be working with an amazing team on the show, can’t wait to get started!”
