Love Island 2019: Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury shock arrival set to cause SERIOUS envy?

Love Island 2019 begins this evening and fans of the reality show will be ecstatic to see the drama is already about to kick off.

As the islanders slowly arrive in the villa, they’re quickly tasked with coupling up for the first time in this year’s show.

But the islanders best not get too excited about their newly formed couples, as Love Island throws two spanners into the works.

Shortly after the couples have been formed, Love Islander Amber Gill receives a text.

After screaming the classic: “I’ve got a text!” she read out the first bombshell of the show.

She said: “Islanders, it’s time for the real games to begin.

“Please welcome your new arrivals. #DoubleTrouble #BoxFresh #HotToFoxtrot”

The Islanders were left a little stunned by the announcement – but they didn’t have time to worry about the finer details as two new male islanders waltzed into the villa.

In walked none-other than Curtis Pritchard – brother of Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard – and Tommy Fury, brother of boxer Tyson Fury.

Stunned by the bombshell, Michael Griffiths chimed in to say: “Nobody was expecting that! Like nobody at all.”

Lucie Donlan echoed Michael’s sentiments as she added: “It’s been such a full-on day.

“There have been bevs coming in everywhere and then two guys come in… who are also bevs!”

Lucie’s word for attractive men – bevs – hasn’t quite caught on yet, but Curtis and Tommy will surely shake things up in the villa.

Although the islanders have already coupled up, they are surely going to be shaken up with the arrivals of the new boys.

And considering the islanders are not even one day into the show, how will they react to being recoupled almost straight away?

This isn’t the only shake up present this year, as Love Island host Caroline Flack revealed another on This Morning last week.

Speaking to Alison Hammond, she explained: “In the hideaway this year, there’s a secret compartment, but they [contestants] won’t know.”

She wouldn’t reveal exactly what was in it, but she went on to tease: “They just have to find it.”

Will this secret compartment come into play as the couples get closer throughout the events of the show?

Love Island 2019 begins tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
