Love Island’s Ovie and India get romantic as they forget all about Jordan drama

Ovie Soko lays it on the line on tonight's Love Island , and says he nearly gave up hope of getting India Reynolds on a date.

The basketball player and the 28-year-old finally get to spend some quiet time together and viewers are sure to be left gushing.

In a teaser for Thursday's show, cute Ovie says he thought he was only placed in the villa to act as 'guardian angel' to Amber.

But it's India he has eyes for now as the adorable pair head out as they forgot all about the drama with Jordan Hames .

Ovie receives a text which reads “India and Ovie. It’s time to get fired up on your final date. #hotunderthecollar #lit”.

Speaking in the Beach Hut ahead of his date, Ovie says “I’m excited about going on this date with India. I’ve been waiting a while for this."

He then adds: "It has come at the ideal time.”

Clips later show India speaking in the Beach Hut. She says “I’m so excited! It’s the first time I’ve left the villa since I arrived.

"It’s pretty hot outside and he’s hot, so I don’t know how much hotter it’s going to get!”

The pair follow a candlelit path to their date and Ovie comes over all romantic, saying: "I would say this is a hell of a start to something."

India soon says the words he really wants to hear.

“I’m so glad you’ve been in the villa the whole time," she says, smiling. "It’s been an amazing experience but it wouldn’t have been half as good if you hadn’t of been there.”

Then she adds: “I came in to meet someone but I didn’t expect to meet someone and get on with them and like them as much as I like you.”

Ovie is thrilled and says: “You know I don’t know how to take compliments!
