LUCIFER SEASON 4 ENDING EXPLAINED
Why is Lucifer season 1, 2, 3, not on Netflix?
Express.co.uk previously approached Netflix for comment about why Lucifer is not available on the service.
There has been no clear reason as to why seasons one to three of Lucifer are not on Netflix.
However, one reason could be the broadcasting and syndication deals FOX made with other broadcasters and services before the show was cancelled.
FOX cancelled Lucifer a year ago due to ratings but the show was saved thanks to a passionate fan campaign across the world.
WILL NETFLIX HAVE LUCIFER SEASONS 1 – 3?
Lead star Tom Ellis also helped to drum up support before the show was picked up by Netflix after managing to generate enough interest.
Netflix may have to wait for previous deals to end before it can make seasons one to three available.
Going forward, Lucifer has become a Netflix Original so all future seasons will be available on the streaming site.
Season five got the green light and is expected to be premiering at some point in 2020.

Although season four finished on a cliffhanger, the story was left open for either more episodes or ending the show there.
Ellis explained to Collier: “With any show you could ultimately finish at the end of any season, and you’re either left with a massive cliffhanger and people are left unsatisfied, or you get the opportunity to tell your story until the end.
“I think that we would all love to come back and do a season five. We’ll just have to see what Netflix says.”
Season five will be split in half with episodes airing in 2020 and then at a later date.
Netflix announced season five would be the last but there have been reports of talks to extend the series further.
