Mack to be hit by Charity's wrath as the sordid truth stuns her in Emmerdale
Emmerdale viewers are well aware of the fact that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is baby Reuben’s dad, but this news left wife Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) in a state of shock.
Reuben was conceived during a one night stand between Mack and Chloe last year, during a rocky patch in Charity and Mack’s relationship.
However, Mack kept his paternity a secret from his now wife, despite wanting to reveal all on several occasions.
Now, he has left it too late, as Charity made the discovery all on her own.
With baby Reuben in hospital, Mack was left concerned for his son’s wellbeing, and, unable to stay away, paid Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) a visit.

Unfortunately, Charity had had the same idea, wishing to show Chloe support during this difficult time.
Already angry at Mack’s unexplained absence the night before, she was stunned to stumble across him at Reuben’s bedside with Chloe.
As she listened to him speak, everything slotted into place, and Charity came to the realisation that her husband had fathered Chloe’s baby.
Horrified, she excused herself from the hospital, claiming to be unwell, before heading home.
Back in the Woolpack, she kept her discovery to herself, until she came face to face with Mack himself.
Mack recognised that he had treated Charity unfairly and, unable to reveal the true reason for his mood, had bought her flowers and a botte of wine, unaware that she already knew the truth.
As Charity confronted him about why he was at the hospital referring to himself as Reuben’s dad, he finally admitted to her that he was.
Charity walked away without another word, leaving Mack on his own in the street.
