Its been a week of good news for Michelle who also signed up to a new series of Brassic as the show is commissioned for a fourth season.
The Sky comedy – which follows a group of friends as they debate leaving their forgotten northern town for a fresh start away from crime – has been a huge hit for the channel.
And The Sun exclusively revealed Michelle is keen to stick with the show as she has signed up for a fourth series.
An insider told us: "Michelle loves the show and filming as Erin – she jumped at the chance to play her again."
Sky has been contacted for comment.
Michelle plays Erin Croft, who is Vinnie's (Misfit's Joe Gilgun) girlfriend in the show.
The plot centres around Vinnie and his pals, dealing with crime, gangsters and friendship, inspired by Joe's own upbringing in Chorley.
Season two ended on a cliffhanger, leaving fans incredibly anxious for the third instalment.
Vinnie and his gang tried to steal a wedding, but things did't go as planned.
As he was taken away by police he declared his feelings for Erin, and told her: "I know it's wrong, but you're the first thing in the morning, and you're the last thing at night."
Erin replied: "I just…I don't know how to tell you how much you mean to me."
Before he was taken away Erin whispered something in his ear.
When the coronavirus pandemic hit last year, fans were left wondering if a third season would ever go ahead as production was put on hold.
However, things were up and running again in October last year.
The past four months have been intense for Michelle, Joe and the rest of the cast as they have been busy trying to finish the highly anticipated series.
Since the new year the former Tina McIntyre actress has filmed a number of scenes including a dramatic car accident after a boozy night out and Cardi and Carol's wedding.
A new trailer for season three was released last month and it looks like it's one not to miss.
It has teased the show's wildest scenes yet – with full frontal nudity, anal probes, and wee being thrown into the gang's faces.
