NCIS LA’s Hanna goes undercover one last time in finale
NCIS: LA season finale teased in promo clip
NCIS: Los Angeles agent Sam Hanna (played by LL Cool J) will be taking on one last dangerous undercover mission tonight for the final episode of the hit CBS drama.
A spin-off from the mainline NCIS series, the LA-based offshoot has proven just as popular but will be coming to an end this weekend with its 14th season.
In the finale, entitled New Beginnings, Part Two, the NCIS team continues its investigation into the ATF and stolen weapons.
Meanwhile, G Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) will be planning their last-minute wedding.
However, things won’t be so easy for his long-time partner Hanna, who’ll be forced to go undercover one last time with newcomer Nina Barnes (Lesley Boone).
From the latest scoop in TV Line, Matt Webb Mitovich teased: “Sam assumes his undercover persona of Switch again, for a very dangerous, high-stakes meeting with some sketchy people.
“And with the irrepressible Nina Barnes at his side this time! I gotta say, the sequence and their banter is fun.”
The promise of “fun” to come should put fans’ minds at ease, as it was very possible one or more of the agents could be killed off in the NCIS send-off.
Thankfully, this doesn’t appear to be the case this time around, and fans can look forward to seeing their favourite heroes in action one last time.

Viewers will also be thrilled to see Hanna take on his Switch persona, one of the most popular aspects of the character that will be sorely missed when the series concludes.
As for the rest of the episode, tissues will be at the ready for the long-awaited wedding of Callen and his girlfriend Anna.
Admiral Hollace Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) unfortunately has a bone to pick with Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) after they went off-book at the end of their last mission.
Plus, there’s also the chance of some familiar faces popping in to say one last goodbye, although don’t expect to see the team’s beloved former boss Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) just yet.
“We don’t get to that point, but it’s put in motion,” showrunner R Scott Gemmill revealed.
“We are going to have steps taken to resolve Hetty’s storyline in a way that I hope leaves fans feeling excited.”
Could this mean Hetty will be crossing paths with Alden Parker (Gary Cole), Tim McGee (Sean Murray) and the main team over on NCIS?
The flagship show and new spin-off NCIS: Hawaii are both continuing, so fans should definitely keep their eyes peeled for cameos from the LA agents in the coming years.
NCIS: Los Angeles concludes Sunday, May 21 on CBS in the USA.
