NCIS has been running for 17 years on CBS with more villains, terrorists and general bad guys than you dare to count. One which sticks out from season five’s Leap of Faith is Dana Arnett. But who is the actress which plays her and where do you recognise her from?
Who played Dana Arnett in NCIS’ Leap of Faith?

In season five episode five, a Navy lieutenant threatened to jump off a tall building in Washington and so Agent Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) was called to help and investigate.
He managed to talk the man away from the ledge but then a mysterious shooter kills him.
Lt Arnett was married to Dana Arnett who had recently separated from her husband.

After a thorough investigation, the team discovered it was actually Dana who killed her husband.
DNA from her toothbrush showed her real name was actually Najida Mamud, an agent of Syrian intelligence with an Interpol record.
She got married to Lt Arnett but then wanted to get rid of him for good but a divorce would have left her out of pocket.
Dana decided to kill him gradually by poisoning him but he had grown depressed and suicidal following their split and was going to throw himself off the building when Gibbs made him think twice about doing so.
This was when Dana stepped in and finished the job by shooting him.
The actress behind the episode’s villain Dana Arnett was Alaina Huffman.
Who is actress Alaina Huffman?
Leap of Faith was aired in 2007 but fans will probably most recognise Huffman from some of her most recent work.
Huffman plays Nikki in The CW’s The 100 which will air its final season this year.
She also played Abandon and Josie Sands in the television series Supernatural, Tamara Johansen in Stargate Universe and Dinah Lance in Smallville.

She is no stranger to the world of NCIS as following her appearance in 2007, five years later she went on to be in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles where she played a woman called Serena Miller in a show called Neighbourhood Watch.
As well as this, she has been in CSI: NY, CSI: Miami and was a reccurring character in Painkiller Jane where she played Maureen Bowers, the same year as she starred in the episode of NCIS.

In the latest episode of NCIS, Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer) was involved in a hit-and-run accident while he was out jogging with Agent Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham).
He ended up hospitalised with serious injuries as he fought for his life but it seems he is on the road to recovery.
NCIS continues on Tuesday, February 11, at 9pm on CBS.
