Neighbours spoilers: Paul Robinson killed as mystery attacker seeks revenge over betrayal?
Paul (played by Stefan Dennis) has had his life turned upside down on Neighbours this week after discovering David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) had paid a visit to his killer son Robert Robinson (Adam Hunter).
Not only did Paul come face-to-face with his former assailant, he also discovered he had a granddaughter in Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donavan), who was waiting to meet her father.
The Channel 5 soap icon’s personal affairs are sure to keep him distracted from meddling in Amy Williams’ (Zoe Crammond) complicated love life after he recently teamed up with Sheila Canning (Colette Mann) to determine his daughter’s romantic future.
Next week, Paul and Sheila’s plan to sabotage Amy’s relationship to Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) will be exposed when Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) uncovers his grandmother’s scheming.

The drama begins when Amy realises she still has feelings for Kyle, her former boyfriend and son of her husband-to-be, Gary.
Amy has tried to keep her mind distracted from her conflicted feelings for Kyle by recently suggesting she and Gary try for a baby, only to be left heartbroken when her fiancé admitted he didn’t want any more children.
Just as Amy is about to leave Gary, Kyle uncovers the sabotage and although knowing his chances with Amy could be scuppered once more, he tells his former lover Paul and Sheila’s plan.
Kyle is crushed when Amy tells him she is going to wait until the dust has settled in the aftermath of the revolution to break up from Gary, not wanting him to blame her father or his mother for her decision to call time on their relationship.
When Gary learns of the sabotage, he is furious with Paul and Sheila and confronts Amy’s father about the meddling.
Paul tells Gary exactly why Kyle would be better for his daughter than he would be, leaving Gary’s blood boiling.
After the two exchange crossed words, Paul is viciously attacked hours after their meeting with the Ramsay Street veteran rushed to hospital and undergoes emergency surgery.
Although it will seem Gary was behind the assault, Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) also acts suspiciously after Paul will reject her romantic advances as he is in a relationship with her auntie, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou).
It seems Roxy may know more about the attack than she’s letting on as she’s quick to point the finger of blame at Gary by claiming she saw the heartbroken character near the crime scene.
Who will be exposed as the misery attacker and will Paul pull through the surgery to fix the internal bleeding he has suffered?
Elsewhere in Erinsborough, Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) is now banged up behind bars after putting Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) through utter turmoil over the past two years.
Andrea had been toying with Toadie over whether his “dead” wife Dee Bliss (Madeleine West) was still alive, he and fans of the Australian soap finally got their answer last week.
Dee made a sensational return after a cliff-top showdown with Andrea, appearing on Toadie’s doorstep to foil Andrea’s plan as the villain was posing as her double once more.
Speaking about playing the role of Andrea, Neighbours star Madeleine West, 38, said: “What I’ve loved the most is that the sinister element, she’s [Andrea] completely unconscious of that.
“She genuinely believes she is doing the right thing for everyone involved and I think that is the hallmark of all great evil characters.
“No one sets out to be evil. Everyone sets out with a specific purpose,” the actress explained exclusively to Express.co.uk.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
