Futurama – Season 11
In case you missed it, there’s a new season of Futurama out right now. After a ten-year hiatus, fans can enjoy the return of fan favourite characters Fry, Leela, Bender, Amy, Kif and Nibbler. But, it’s not all nostalgia as the show has also kept up with the times — so expect to see topics like bitcoin, cancel culture, streaming TV and vaccines make an appearance in Season 11.
Episode 7 airs on September 4, and new episodes will continue to drop weekly until Episode 10 concludes the season on September 25.
September 5
Only Murders in the Building – Season 3
Only Murders in the Building returned to Disney+ in August and it continues into September with Episode 6 which is released on September 5. New episodes will premiere every Tuesday until October 3, and see fan-favourite characters Mabel, Oliver and Charles investigate another New York murder.
After Ben Glethroy, the star of Oliver’s Broadway play, dies on stage on opening night, the trio must find the killer. Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin are joined by a host of familiar faces this season, including Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep.
Walt Disney Shorts
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit takes centre stage in All Wet and Trolley Troubles, two animated shorts from 1927. In the first, hot dog vendor Oswald gets a job as a lifeguard in hopes of wooing the lovely Fanny Cottontail, who pretends to get into distress to catch Oswald’s attention, only for the danger to become real.
