Peter Andre is cut off TWICE in ITV blunder as he disappears during competition segment

GOOD Morning Britain and Lorraine suffered multiple blunders today – cutting off Peter Andre TWICE.

The ITV programmes were forced to apologise after the Mysterious Girl singer, 46, fell foul of their technical issues during their competition segments.

Peter had stood in for Andi Peters, who is off sick with shingles, and was reporting from a boat in London's Tower Bridge.

But viewers' TV screens were plunged into darkness seconds after he came on air at 8am, before a message appeared that said: "GM COM 80K WK2 PETE ENDSLATE ATHENE."

The message lingered for seconds before it was quickly replaced with Peter.

Later, on Lorraine, Peter returned to screens and told viewers they had chance to win a prize package worth around £110,000.

This consisted of mortgage and rent payments of up to £24,000, bills up to £10,000 and tax-free cash-sum £80,000.

However, Lorraine suffered the same glitches and Peter's excitement was replaced by a fuzzy screen and sound issues.

Presenter Lorraine Kelly said: "Sorry about the sound problems, we'll get those sorted out for later on"

Though Peter returned to screens later, it became obvious that he couldn't hear Lorraine.

He appeared to ignore the Scottish host when she asked: "We've sorted out all the gremlins Peter now haven't we?"

Earlier this week, Peter opened up about his wife Emily's agony at dropping their son Theo, 3, at nursery for the first time.

He revealed Emily found it to difficult to say "goodbye" to her youngest child.

While speaking about their other child, Amelia's, sixth birthday, he revealed the eldest getting another year older didn't affect her as much as the Theo starting nursery.

"Emily was actually OK about Mills getting another year older, but found it hard saying bye to Theo when we dropped him off for his first morning at nursery last Wednesday," Peter Andre wrote in his new! Magazine column.

"I think it's going to take them both a while to get used to it."

Protective mum Emily revealed that Theo was a "traumatic" birth in 2016.

Theo was born three weeks premature because he was breech – where the baby doesn't turn in preparation for the birth.

She underwent injections to help the baby's lungs develop and she was then given a C-section weeks before her due date.

She told OK! magazine: "I went to hospital and they tried to turn him from the outside, which was quite painful, but I didn’t want a C-section so I had to get through it. They tried three times [to turn him] but he kept flipping back around.

"I felt robbed of having a natural birth but at least he’s healthy."
