Piers Morgan blocks Loose Women’s Carol McGiffin after he branded her ‘deluded’
Loose Women regular Carol McGiffin has claimed that Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has blocked her online after she criticised him.
Carol, 60, explained that things turned sour between she and Piers after she replied to a tweet in which Susanna Reid's co-star warned the ongoing pandemic is far from over.
Piers tweeted: "To everyone on here deluding themselves that Covid is 'over', take a look at Spain's cases & death rate in the past week.
"Then wake the f*** up. This pandemic has barely started."
Hitting back publicly, Carol vented: "Piers.
"The only deluded person around here is you. No one’s buying your hysterical b***s*** anymore.
"You did a brilliant job of scaring the nation into paralysis but it’s over now."
While Piers didn't reply back, Carol later shared a screenshot of the former newspaper editor's page which now showed she was "blocked".
She added to her 436,000 followers: "Touched a nerve?"

After one fan replied to Carol telling her Piers' decision to block her is a "feather in her cap," the TV regular replied: "Depressing though it is."
Carol recently opened up about cancel culture on social media – admitting she isn't bothered by any backlash she receives.
Carol told The Sun Online: "Everyone’s got access to social media and people seem to be getting less tolerant of those who don’t agree or who see the world in a different way.
"I’m used to it and it doesn’t bother me in the slightest."
Piers is set to return to Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid next month after the TV duo took the summer off.
