Piers Morgan brands sober Susanna Reid 'boring' and says her boozy behaviour is 'spectacular' when she falls off the wagon

PIERS Morgan has branded sober Susanna Reid "boring" and says her boozy behaviour is "spectacular" when she falls off the wagon.

The Good Morning Britain presenter hinted that his squeaky-clean co-host is a force to be reckoned with when she lets her hair down.

In an interview The Sunday Mirror Magazine, Piers said: "All this 'I don't drink' stuff Susanna says isn't true.

"Trust me, you want to go on a bender with her, because when she falls off the wagon my God it's spectacular."

He added: "I want another bender, so I hope to f*** by the end of the summer holidays you're drinking again because it's so boring when you don't."

Unfortunately for Piers, Susanna's planning to turn "100 per cent vegan" over summer – as well as being a non-drinker.

When asked to reveal a secret about Piers, Susanna replied: "Piers is a diva.

"Every morning he demands his newspapers ready for him and he has to have a hot banana sandwich during the show."

Susanna, 48, ditched wine last August after a doctor warned she was "at the top end of her BMI".

The GP added that her face could end up scarred for life after blood vessels started to burst.

It prompted Susanna to quit the booze immediately – much to Piers' disappointment.

The pair's incredible on-screen chemistry has led GMB to be nominated for two BAFTA awards and most recently is up for Best Daytime Show at the TV Choice Awards.
