Ravi's plan works as Suki is arrested for Ranveer's murder in EastEnders

It appears Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) plan to frame Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) for the murder of Ranveer has worked as tonight in EastEnders, she was arrested.

We know, of course, that Suki believes she killed Ranveer after a showdown with him a few months ago.

It transpired that all Suki did was knock Ranveer unconscious as when Ravi arrived, he woke up.

This led Ravi to attacking Ranveer, killing him and planting seeds that have since made it look at though Suki was solely responsible.

The fact the Panesars have essentially just moved on from Suki killing a man bothered Vinny (Shiv Jalota) last week so he confronted his family, wondering why on earth they were just ignoring the elephant in the room and that Ravi was eating dinner with the woman who killed his dad.

This prompted Nish (Navin Chowdhry) to stand up and reveal the truth about Ravi – he isn’t Ranveer’s son.

Tonight, as the family attempted to process another bombshell, DS Manners was continuing to investigate Ranveer’s death.

He turned his attention to Nina (Hersha Verity) – who’s in on Ravi’s secret – and she managed to point the finger at Suki again, saving herself and Ravi by saying they were together on the night of Ranveer’s murder.

As Suki prepared for another family get together, her happiness and hopes of looking forward to a brighter future after a difficult few weeks were destroyed, as the police arrived and had her arrested.

But has time ran out?

With one Panesar now out of prison, is another about to head in?
