Rick and Morty season 4, episode 6 release date: When does Rick and Morty return?

Rick and Morty season four is going to hitting screens at some point this year. US network Adult Swim ordered for 70 new episodes in 2018, so there’s more Rick and Morty in the pipeline. Express.co.uk takes a look at when the series will be coming back to the small screen.

When will Rick and Morty season 4, episode 6 be released?

Season four premiered on Adult Swim on November 10 in America.

Channel 4’s E4 is the home of Rick and Morty in the UK with series four premiering on November 20.

This means British fans are behind their American counterparts by a couple of weeks.

Fans were left enraged recently after the show’s official account dropped a video but no news on the release date for episode six.

But some fans think they’ve figured out when the show will be returning after some detective work.

Adult Swim previously confirmed season four would be split into two halves consisting of five episodes each.

Fans have predicted there will be a big change in Part B.

A tagline for the current run said: “Half the season you deserve, all the season we could handle.”

The news left some fans outraged but Rick and Morty’s creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have previously confirmed there would be 10 episodes in total.

Roiland posted on Twitter previously: “Finally. Season four premieres tonight! We have 10 episodes! First 5 start tonight! Sunday nov 10th at 11:30 PM E/P Only on Adult Swim.”

Some fans have been wondering if the show will be on this week but sadly it won’t because the series is on a midseason break.

Others have been questioning when it will be on Netflix after previous runs were on the platform.

There’s also been speculation about the new series with some theorising Rick could be a secret parasite.

Adult Swim has tweeted about the premiere date, confirming in a post: “Rick and Morty Season 4 will return in 2020.”

The broadcaster also posted: “You can trust us. @adultswim #rickandmorty.”

This article will be updated when a return date is confirmed by the network.

Luckily, the wait isn’t expected to be too long for the back half of the run.

Harmon previously told Entertainment Weekly: “I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons three and four will be the longest and last time that it’s ever so long that it’s ridiculous.

“I don’t know how fast we can do it, but I know it will never be this long again.”
