Rick and Morty star says fan theories about multiple dimensions are 'possible'
Rick and Morty star Chris Parnell has admitted that fan theories to the existence of multiple dimensions in the animated comedy are ‘entirely plausible.’
Chris voices Morty’s father Jerry in the irreverent show, and his own character helped kickstarted this theory after he was delivered to the inter-dimensional Jerry Daycare Centre in season two.
It’s long been thought by fans that the Jerry picked up by Rick at the end of episode is not the Jerry that we know.
‘I’m never completely clear, personally, on which particular family we’re with,’ the actor told Digital Spy. ‘It’s entirely possible.’
‘I’m not sure it’s the same family we started with. I mean, I don’t know if these are clones of clones, or… I really can’t keep up with all of that.
He continued: ‘And whether or not it’s the right Jerry? Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll find out.’
Rick and Morty also recently was unveiled as the most-streamed show during the coronavirus lockdown, which is certainly something to scream about.
The second half of its fourth season will also be dropping on Netflix UK in June for your bingeing pleasure.
Despite fans having to wait a long time for successive seasons to air in previous years, we’ve been promised that the wait for series five will be ‘much shorter.’
Rick and Morty airs on E4 in the UK and is available to stream now via Netflix.
