The 47th edition of the show saw the likes of Kim Kardashian and Billie Eilish take over as guest hosts, however, viewers are curious to know who will be hosting and performing on the first episode of Season 48.
Who is the next host on SNL?
The first episode of Season 48 of SNL is set to premiere on October 1, 2022.
Veteran actor, Miles Teller, who is popularly known for starring in Top Gun: Maverick, will be the host of the night.
Furthermore, the musical guest for the show will be versatile musician, Kendrick Lamar.
Previously, the Season 47 finale took place on May 21, 2022, with the star and co-creator of Russian Doll, Natasha Lyonne, as the host for the night.

Selena Gomez returned to SNL on May 14, 2022, as a host ahead of the second season premiere of Only Murders in the Building.
The last time Gomez was seen on the show was in 2016 as a performer.
