Scarlett Moffatt finally feels confident enough to get her arms and legs out after years of fat shaming by online trolls – The Sun
SCARLETT Moffatt has admitted she finally feels confident to bare a little skin after years of fat-shaming comments.
The former Gogglebox star, 29, looked sensational as she posed for a mirror selfie as she opened up about her battles with confidence.
Flaunting her curves in a one-shoulder black dress and gold heels, the presenter showed off her arms and legs in the shot.
She wrote: "Everyone’s done 'the toilet selfie'
"I’ve done a show recently that has really boosted my confidence and honestly I can’t tell you (and I know it sounds sad) how liberated I felt filmin and having the tops of my arms and legs out.
"I normally have everything covered. Thank you".
Celebrity pals, including Katie Piper and Catherine Tyldesley, were quick to support the star with words of encouragement.
Katie said: "You looked beautiful and were so funny on it".
While former Corrie star Catherine commented a string of fire emojis.
Earlier this year, Scarlett, who is currently dating police constable Scott Dobinson, was forced to hit back at trolls who accused her of editing her Instagram pictures.
After receiving a string of comments, Scarlett immediately hit back and said: "This is me and it annoys me when people say otherwise I'm 5 foot I don't edit pics just put filters – TV makes me look different to be honest!! Stop it with the negativity man".
The TV presenter has always spoken openly about her struggles with weight.
In 2016 Scarlett brought out the DVD, SuperSlim Me Plan, which showed her fans exactly how she managed to lose 3st 5lb.
During the fitness DVD process, she dropped from her starting weight of 11st 5lb to a tiny 8st.
However, in an exclusive chat with The Sun’s Dan Wootton last year, the Geordie revealed her weight had increased to a more achievable size 12.
