Scott Wolf Replacing Freddie Prinze, Jr. in ‘Nancy Drew’ Series

Nancy Drew is getting a new dad.
A day after the CW ordered its “Nancy Drew” pilot to series, “Party of Five” alum Scott Wolf is replacing Freddie Prinze Jr. as Nancy’s lawyer dad, Carson Drew.
Newcomer Kennedy McMann is starring as the teenage sleuth in the latest reboot of the iconic character.
In the series, her father has become estranged from Nancy following the recent death of his beloved wife. Their relationship isn’t helped when Nancy’s murder investigation reveals unsettling secrets from Carson’s own past.
Wolf’s other TV credits include “Night Shift,” “V,” “The Nine” and “Everwood.”
