Simon Cowell’s son Eric melts hearts as he appears on Britain’s Got Talent during magic trick

Simon Cowell’s son Eric won over viewers on Britain’s Got Talent during the first episode of the new series.

Music mogul Simon was left stunned as Welsh magician James Piper took to the stage for an incredible trick which left viewers at home in tears.

In the trick, James asks Simon, 60, to pick his favourite activity as well as a random card from a deck before writing the name of a special person on the back.

  • Ant and Dec to host Saturday Night Takeaway live from separate homes as they self-isolate

Simon wrote down the name of his six-year-old son, before the card disappeared from in-between his hands.

James’s son Dylan is then heard screaming Simon’s name from the crowd before running over and bringing his wallet with him.

The card with Eric’s name was then unveiled from the wallet, before a large card unveiled on stage read: “Simon and Eric.”

A picture on the back then showed Simon and his son on a jet ski, which he picked as his activity.

Clearly emotional, Simon then called his son over to the judging panel as he sat on his lap.

Simon then kissed him on the head before beaming: “That was really, really special.

"The second thing is bullying. It terrifies me. If there’s even a whiff of it… I don’t think I could handle it."

However, the proud dad revealed that Eric loves school, as he gushed: “He likes school, which is surprising because I never did. He says he likes learning.”
