Spoilers: Ian arrested after shocking plan in EastEnders

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) finds himself in police custody in EastEnders, as he’s arrested in upcoming scenes!

The police arrive, and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) believes they’ve come to speak to him, but little does he know that they’re present to arrest Ian!

Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) rushes to the police station, but son Peter (Dayle Hudson) isn’t as caring, as he tries to convince Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) that his dad is in the wrong.

However, Ian blames Kathy for the arrest, which prompts her to serve him with some harsh truths.

The question is: why is he arrested? What’s more, who turned him in?

The answer to those questions are currently unknown, and — given that the restaurateur antagonises a number of residents during the week in question — it’s not going to be an easy mystery to solve.

He tells Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) about Tiffany Butcher-Baker’s (Maisie Smith) being Rainie and Stuart Highway’s (Tanya Franks and Ricky Champ) surrogate.

What’s more, he spots a kiss between Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Max Branning (Jake Wood), and uses it as leverage in order to get Max off his back, which leads to him forming a devious plan.

As the week comes to a close, Ian is left lying motionless on the floor of the Queen Vic, but just who is it that attacked him?

So many questions.
