Stormzy’s Twitter account mysteriously disappears leaving his fans baffled – The Sun
GRIME star Stormzy's Twitter account mysteriously disappeared tonight.
Fans of the Heavy Is The Head rapper, 26, were told "this account doesn't exist" when they tried to land on his page.
It left them questioning what had happened, with one writing: "Why is the @Stormzy account deleted? anyone else noticed? #Stormzy."
Others speculated it had something to do with Stormzy's announcement on the site that he'd bagged free and unlimited Greggs for life after receiving the bakery brand's first ever black card.
A fan shared: "Is it a coincidence @stormzy's Twitter account has been deleted the same day he gets given a @GreggsOfficial Black Card?! What could this mean ?? #conspiracy."
Stormzy had said his life had "peaked" as he revealed the news this afternoon.
Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., shared a video message he received from Greggs telling him they'd deliver wherever he was, whether it be Glastonbury or AJ Tracey's penthouse apartment.
Unsurprisingly, his followers loved the gesture, and were maybe a tiny bit jealous too.
After learning he could get sausage rolls, steak bakes and yum yums whenever he wanted, he wrote: "Are you mad the first Greggs black card @GreggsOfficial I have peaked this is brilliant ?."
Greggs announced it was launching a nationwide delivery service with Just Eat last month after a successful trial last year.
Meanwhile it's been a dream 2020 for Stormzy so far.
On Tuesday he won Best Solo Male at the Brits and he recently achieved his first UK number one single with his track Own It.
He will top this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals after a headline slot at Glastonbury last summer.
Stormzy's not averse to a collaboration having teamed up with Ed Sheeran, Burna Boy and Little Mix in the past.
And now reunited JLS exclusively told The Sun they would love to work with him.
Speaking at the Brits, Oritsé Williams said the band had watched the UK rapper's rise to the top of the charts during their break from music.
He said: "Stormzy obviously is incredible. I think a Stormzy / JLS collaboration would be absolutely epic. You've got the likes of Lizzo, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi. So there are super great artists her."
