Strictly's Jamie Laing gets TWO tens as he lands top of the leaderboard after hip hop dance
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Jamie Laing got TWO tens, landing him at the top of the leaderboard after his hip hop dance.
The Made In Chelsea star, 32, and his partner Karen Hauer dazzled the judges with their street performance.
The pair danced to Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by the C+C Music Factory.
The judges were incredibly impressed with the performance, with Jamie scoring tens from Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
Craig Revel Horwood broke from the pack and scored him a nine.
During the feedback, Shirley said: "Oh my goodness, that was like going on a merry-go-round.
"You're agile, you're energetic, you had changes of speed. You kept up absolutely in synch with Karen.
"I am a huge fan of Karen's when she does things like this but let me tell you, you held your own. It was difficult to tell the difference. Absolutely in it, you gave 100%."
Anton told the couple: "Obviously this particular style of dance comes perfectly naturally to me.
"This is the thing about this dance. It's all about the style and the timing – and you NAILED it. Unbelievable. You're dancing with the best. She is remarkable.
"You've picked up her style and created this. I have to be honest with you – it's your best dance by a thousand miles."
Craig said: "I did think it was going to be like those homeboys of Belgravia trying to do Street on the King's Road, darling. But I was wrong.
"That was amazing. Beautiful, you styled it out, you were in synch. I was a little bit disappointed it didn't end in a head spin. Maybe next time."
This week his biggest competition is Maisie and Gorka, who scored a 27 for their Salsa. After it is HRVY and Janette, who bagged 26 for their Tango.
