Terrified Netflix fans ‘having nightmares’ after watching ‘scariest movie ever’ Incantation | The Sun
NETFLIX fans say a film on the streaming platform has left them so terrified they’re “having nightmares” and “sleeping with the light on.”
Featuring jumps, gore and a chilling plot twist, Incantation tells the story of a young mother who must go to extreme lengths to save her daughter’s life from a malevolent spirit.
Netflix viewers are confessing they’re sleeping with the lights after watching the “scariest movie ever.”
Incantation is so terrifying it managed to freak out TikTok when it was first released, resulting in a challenge for people to watch the movie without pausing or stopping altogether.
Using a mix of found footage and narration, it tells the story of Li Ronan (Tsai Hsuan-ye), a mother who attempts to save her six-year-old daughter from a deadly curse.
Without giving too much of the plot away, Ronan and a couple of her friends travel to a small rural village where the residents worship a deity called Mother-Buddha.
