'The Bachelorette': Luke P. Posts About His Flaws on Instagram After Backlash

Luke Parker quickly became one of the most talked about people on The Bachelorette because of his strange behavior. Many believe Hannah Brown should be very suspicious of him, and now he is addressing it on his Instagram. What did he have to say? Here is everything you need to know.

Luke Parker was previously a front-runner on Hannah Brown’s season

Parker came out on top by getting the first impression rose on the first night. He continued to find ways to get more time with her by interrupting her interview to kiss.

However, his behavior started raising flags when he claimed he was already falling for her on the second day in front of all the other guys. This made Brown and the other men somewhat question his motives. The next week didn’t get any better.

Brown had to talk to Parker about his red flags

“Week 3” aired showing Parker getting very jealous of Brown hanging out with the other men.

“Luke P. stole the show again but in a negative way,” she told the camera. “I know he’s one of my strongest connections, but it’s annoying when he tries to flaunt our connection in front of the guys. There have been just some little red flags about how he carries himself that bothers me a little bit. It’s like this fine line of I really think it’s attractive to it’s the most unattractive thing that I’ve ever seen in my life.”

It came to a point that Brown pulled him aside to talk to him about his behavior. “I’ve been struggling a little bit with it because I feel like you already think that it’s promised to you and that bothers me a lot,” she said. “And like, I feel like your confidence in this kind of makes me irritated in a way. … I want you to like focus on me and you do that, but you also don’t respect that I do have other relationships here for me and that bothers me. I like confidence but it’s like cocky in a way. I don’t like that at all. I want it to change.”

Parker claimed he is continuing to learn about his flaws

The episode had a lot of fans talking about being uncomfortable by Parker’s behavior. He eventually took to Instagram to somewhat address it with a picture of him with Brown.

The caption reads, “First I want you all to know how hard it has been for me to watch myself this season so far. Regardless of what is aired AND IF @alabamahannah and I are together or not my behavior in all situations has been and will continue to be exposed.”

The caption continues with, “I have learned a lot and I am continuing to learn about my flaws as a man. I’m the first to admit I am far from perfect. This journey has giving me a great opportunity to grow and mature as a man, for that I am grateful.”

This isn’t the first time Parker alluded to his behavior on the show. He previously posted a picture of him smiling. In the caption, he wrote about not being perfect with, “I just want to be transparent and real with my posts so that people can see the real me. I’m not perfect, but I know the one who is.”
