The Chase fans in hysterics as contestant panics and gets question COMPLETELY wrong
THE Chase fans were left in hysterics after a contestant panicked and got their question COMPLETELY wrong.
During this evening's instalment of the ITV programme a player called Mik was thrown off guard over a question related to fitness.
Host Bradley Walsh asked Hertfordshire-born Mik: "In the interval training exercise HIIT, what does the H stand for?"
But the pressure of being on the show and trying to win the money to give some back to his dad for paying for his masters certainly got to the trainee traffic controller.
And he managed to get all the letters mixed up.
Mik confidentally answered: "Interval."
Bradley corrected his response and explained that it actually stands for high.
Fans of the show flocked to Twitter to share their amusement over Mik's answer.
One wrote: "HIIT means high-intensity interval training – or in Mik's case, interval-intensity interval training #TheChase."
A second said: "H stands for interval? This person will be passing safety critical messages with the phonetic alphabet directing your holiday jet ffs. #thechase."
A third added: "What does the H stand for in HIIT Interval #TheChase."
It comes after another guest on the show left viewers in floods of tears after an outrageous claim about Facebook.
Bradley asked contestant Lynn what year the social networking site was launched – and she couldn't have got it more wrong.
She confidently answered: "The eighties."
Facebook was actually launched seventeen years ago on February 4 2004 by creator Mark Zuckerberg.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5.00pm on ITV
