The Chases Darragh Ennis slams fix rumours and claims he cheats on ITV show
Telly quizzer Darragh Ennis has been hit by claims he cheats on The Chase.
The star, 41, left, gets bombarded with smears online after joining the show in 2020 and it has left him furious.
He told the Daily Star: "I’ve had some very negative reactions online. I get messages saying the show is a fix and I’m a liar.

"People accuse me of fixing the show by using an earpiece. And some people think we know the questions in advance. It’s madness.
"It’s nonsense and it’s infuriating. I just block them. I don’t want to give them oxygen.
"The other Chasers all get it and they have advised me to do that. The best thing is to block them and move on."
"It’s not worth my time or energy.”
Darragh has spent years honing his skills to become one of TV’s brainiest stars.
He added: "People don’t see the background work we put in. I have spent years working to build up my knowledge.
"I spend hours every week doing quizzes.
"Despite the trolling, Darragh still loves being on the show.
|He said: “It’s literally the best job in the world. I love it. Because it’s been on TV for years, it’s a well-oiled machine, so there are no teething problems.
"Recording is almost always really smooth. It’s in and out and done. It’s a really enjoyable place to work.”
The Chase has become one of TV’s biggest shows since launching in 2009.
Its quizzers also include Anne Hegerty, 64, Mark Labbett, 57, Shaun Wallace, 62, Jenny Ryan, 40 and Paul Sinha, 52.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
