The Gallows Pole viewers all say the same thing after expletive-filled period drama's big finale | The Sun
FANS of The Gallows Pole have all been left saying the same thing and have a big question for BBC bosses as the series came to a close.
The action packed programme has had viewers hooked but raised eyebrows from some fans who expressed their concern early on about the expletive-ridden show.
Inspired by the 2017 novel The Gallows Pole by Benjamin Myers, this small-screen adaptation comes from Shane Meadows, the driving force behind the cult film and subsequent series, This Is England.
However, despite the intense amount of foul language, it appears that fans have been left gripped by the three-episode mini series.
Many commented that it purely felt like an intro to a show which could have plenty more stories to tell.
It left viewers questioning if the show would be making a comeback with a second series.
