Netflix and NBC will start airing The Good Place season four today after the events of the season three finale Pandemonium. The NBC hit comedy about life, death, the afterlife is returning for its final season – much to fans disappointment. Season four is sure to provide more plot twists and curveballs for the four humans.
When is The Good Place season 4 out?
NBC announced season four will premiere on September 26 in the USA – meaning you’ll get it on Netflix UK on Friday, September 27.
Seasons one to three of The Good Place have all had 13 episodes, so the fourth edition of the NBC show is likely to continue this trend.
Although Netflix has not yet confirmed they will be airing The Good Place season four, the platform is expected to continue dropping episodes the day after release on NBC as they did with the previous series.

Who is in the cast of The Good Place season 4?
All the main cast will return – after all, when your show is set in the afterlife, it is not as if you can kill a character off.
This means all the four humans leads will be back – Eleanor Shellstrop (played by Kristen Bell), Chidi Anagonye (William Jackson Harper), Tahani Al-Jamil (Jameela Jamil) and Jason Mendoza (Manny Jacinto).
Also expected to return are demon Michael (Ted Danson) and the afterlife’s user interface Janet (D’Arcy Carden).
Previous seasons have featured guest appearances from such stars as Maya Rudolph and Stephen Merchant.
No guest actors have yet been revealed for The Good Place season four, however.

What will happen in The Good Place season 4?
With huge plot twists a central part of The Good Place’s DNA, almost anything could happen in season four.
The midseason finale of season three saw our leads find themselves in the real titular Good Place for the first time, so the new series could take place there.
However, Shaun (Marc Evan Jackson) and his co-workers continue to be out to get the quartet, so surely their stay there cannot last for long.
We will know more about the plot details of the new series after the season three finale, which is due to air on Thursday, January 24, 2019 on NBC and the following day on Netflix.

NBC released the first look at the last season of The Good Place at San Diego Comic-Con in July, two months before the series started.
As such, fans may have a long wait until they get a glimpse of The Good Place season four.
