Tonight’s episode of Love Island cancelled following Caroline Flack’s death
Sunday night's episode of Love Island has been cancelled following the death of Caroline Flack, ITV have confirmed.
Caroline was found dead at her East London home by her dad, Ian, on Saturday at the age of 40 after taking her own life.
Love Island's highlights show, Unseen Bits, was pulled from screens on Saturday night, with it now being revealed Sunday's episode will also not air.
A statement from ITV read: "Many people at ITV knew Caroline well and held her in great affection. All of us are absolutely devastated at this tragic news.
"After careful consultation between Caroline's representatives and the Love Island production team and given how close we still are to the news of Caroline's tragic death we have decided not to broadcast tonight's Love Island out of respect for Caroline's family.
"Love Island will return tomorrow night which will include a tribute to Caroline who will be forever in our hearts."
It was previously reported that the remaining couples battling it out on the hit ITV2 show Caroline hosted for five years are blissfully unaware of the tragic news.

Callum Jones, Molly Smith, Ched Uzor, Jess Gale, Demi Jones, Luke Mabbott, Finn Tapp, Paige Turley, Jamie Clayton, Natalia Zoppa, Luke Trotman, Siânnise Fudge, Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu are currently living in a villa in South Africa filming the sixth series of the dating show.
According to MailOnline, bosses have made the decision to not yet inform the islanders of Caroline's passing.
A source told the publication it's "business as usual" in the villa contestants are "completely unaware" Caroline has taken her own life.
ITV issued a statement following Caroline's passing, which read: "Everyone at Love Island and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news.
"Caroline was a much-loved member of the Love Island team and our sincere thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends."
Laura Whitmore, Caroline's close friend and replacement as host of the show, spoke out to defend the programme on Sunday after viewers called for it to be axed in the wake of the sad news.

Speaking on her BBC Radio 5 Live show, she said: "Caroline loved to love. That's all she wanted."
Continuing through tears, she carried on: "Which is why the show Love Island is important to her because the show is about finding love, friendship, having a laugh.
"The problem wasn't the show, the show to work on is loving and caring and safe and protected. The problem is the outside world is not."
