What happened to missing actor Lindsey Erin Pearlman?
On February 18, the LAPD announced that missing actress Lindsey Pearlman was found dead.
Pearlman was most known for her role as a TV actor on shows such ABC's American Housewife and General Hospital.
Who is Lindsey Pearlman?
A Chicago-born native, Lindsey Pearlman graduated from The Second City Conservatory where she studied comedy and was cast in the national Equity tour of Second City Theatricals' The Realish Housewives: A Parody.
Pearlman trained at Northeastern University where she holds a Bachelor's degree in speech and performing arts and studied improv, the art of acting in the moment rather than from a script, at Upright Citizens Brigade.
She has had recurring roles on Chicago Justice and General Hospital and has co-starred on Empire, The Purge, and Sneaky Pete.
According to her website, Pearlman had recently moved to Los Angeles "in pursuit of more on-camera opportunities."

What happened to Lindsey Pearlman?
Lindsey Pearlman, 43, was first reported missing on February 16, 2022.
A press release from the Los Angeles Police Department stated she was last seen in Los Angeles on February 13 at approximately 12pm.
A missing person's report was sent out on Friday, February 18 and LAPD responded to a death investigation shortly after in the Hollywood area.
NBC reported that according to LAPD, the body was discovered to be Pearlman. Her cause of death has not been released.

The LAPD posted the update on Pearlman's disappearance on their website that says, "Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue.
"The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.”
What has Lindsey Pearlman's family said?
Pearlman's husband, Vance, has been posting updates to social media about his wife's disappearance and officially announced his wife's death at about 6pm on February 18.
"The police found Lindsey," he wrote. "I'm gone. I'm broken. I will share more later, but I wanted to thank you to everyone for their love and efforts and ask you to respect the privacy of her family at this time."
Her cousin, Savannah Pearlman, also posted an update on Twitter at about the same time and said, "I'm deeply sad to report that they have found Lindsey, and it was too late.
"I have no other information about the location or circumstance. Lindsey was a fierce animal advocate and a talented actress."
Savannah Pearlman asked people to make donations to SanteDor, an animal and adoption center, in Lindsey Pearlman's name.
