What time is Dancing on Ice on tonight? Plus a RECAP of last week’s show – The Sun
DANCING On Ice will return TONIGHT at 6pm for what is set to be another dramatic episode.
Last week's show saw Caprice Bourret and new partner Oscar Peter booed by the live studio audience following her very public fall out with former partner Hamish Gaman.
Here's what went down…
LAST DANCE (ON ICE)
It was a night of high drama on Dancing On Ice as Caprice and her new partner Oscar Peter took to the rink.
The model was missing from the show the week before after a fall out with her former partner Hamish Gaman.
But when she hit the ice last night, you could hear some booing from the audience, which may have put off her game and saw her land in the bottom two.
However, Caprice was saved from elimination as Radzi was sent home instead.
Both were in the bottom two but the judges chose to save Caprice.
All four judges opted to save her and see Radzi leave the competition.
Tune in next Sunday at 6pm on ITV to see what happens.
BOO-TIFUL SHOW
Recap: Before tonight's Dancing On Ice had even begun, the question on everyone's lips was how on earth ITV were going to explain Caprice's return and sudden switch of partner from Hamish Gaman to Oscar Peter?
Well, spoiler, they DIDN'T. Other than acknowledging Oscar's debut, no explanation as to how or why he was there was given. And this did not go down well with fans.
Feeling cheated out of the truth, following days of 'bullying' allegations, viewers were hoping for a solid reason for what had gone on.
Unfortunately, this was not to be, meaning Caprice endured boos from the audience and a plot from fans to oust her from the show.
At first, it seemed the angry mob of viewers had got their way, as Caprice and Oscar found themselves in the skate-off with Radzi Chinyanganya. But following their performance, all four judges voted to send Radzi home.
Cue an onslaught over on Twitter…
Meanwhile, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean took to the ice for their first live skate of 2020, leaving both Jayne and host Holly Willoughby in tears.
Other highlights included Lisa George performing in a mock-up Rovers Returns with some Corrie co-stars (who were not entrusted with a pair of skates) and Joe Swash skating particularly well with his new stand-in partner, Alex Murphy.
Unlike the Caprice situation, this switch up was because his partner Alexandra Schauman injured herself last week.
What a week. Can't wait for next Sunday! Though I bet Caprice can…
FEELING H-OT
With the excitement of tonight's show fizzling out, and before I bid you farewell, I must share this with you.
Naked H in the shower. With a very extreme tango tan line.
Thanks for that, H.
LEGENDARY PAIR
Aside from the VERY obvious drama tonight, my favourite moment was seeing Torvill and Dean take to the ice.
What total legends. They even had Holly in tears (not that it takes much).
AD ENOUGH
Another thing that has rattled viewers' cage tonight is the amount of adverts they had to sit through.
I must admit, my favourite ad break was the first one, as it lasted all of 2.5 seconds.
Even Holly seemed surprised when she was suddenly back on air in less time than it takes to boil a kettle.
