What time is Deep Water on tonight?

Deep Water continues tonight with episode four (September 4, 2019) at 9pm.

You can catch all the previous episodes now on ITV Hub.

And in total,  the show consists of six episodes.

What's expected to happen in episode four?

On a school trip, Lisa has a hard time getting close enough to Kate to question her on what has been going on.

She watches in horror as Kate continues to play the role of the tragic mother who is missing her daughter.

Elsewhere, there's plenty of tension between the parents and it rubs off on the children, and an innocent accident ends Fergus straight in the hospital.

Lisa rushes after Kate and Fergus to the hospital and is determined to uncover the truth.

And later in the episode, Roz has no choice but to tell Abby that Winston has officially moved out.

Who's in the cast of ITV's Deep Water?

The show is led by a strong female cast.

  • Emmy-winning actress Anna Friel stars as “chaotic and disorganised” mother-of-three Lisa Kallisto, who "juggles her hectic family life with running a business.” She is married to Joe, who works all hours of the day and night as a taxi driver.
  • Next, we have physiotherapist Roz, played by Sinead Keenan, who once had a thriving private practice but is now facing financial ruin because of the debts run up by her soulmate Winston.
  • Finally, there’s Rosalind Eleazar who plays Kate Riverty who “seems to have it all” and is “wealthy and attractive and with a well-drilled and highly organised family life” with children Lucinda and Fergus, and husband Guy. Kate invites her friend Lisa and husband Joe to dinner – but the evening goes spectacularly wrong for Lisa after she makes a “spontaneous” decision.

What is Deep Water about?

Set against the backdrop of Lake Windermere, Deep Water follows the lives of three “complex and vibrant” women, each trying to do their best for their families, but facing “tough choices with difficult and often messy repercussions.”

The connection between these women is their similarly-aged children – and frequent meetings at the school gates.

The series is written by Anny Symon and adapted from the Windermere series of novels.

The main characters are complex, vibrant women who are desperately juggling work and home life and coping with the issues raised by modern parenting.

ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill, said: “Anna has cleverly woven together two of Paula’s brilliant novels, to create a wonderful modern and layered series.

"It’s about three very different women on their own incredible and often shocking journeys, whose lives connect at the school gates.

"It’s funny, sexy, truthful and often outrageous, and should have the audience asking what they would do to hold their own family together.

"I am delighted to be working with Kudos on this great new series for ITV.”
