CONOR McGregor is set to plead guilty to punching a fellow drinker in a Dublin pub.
The UFC fighter, 31, is accused of attacking a man in the March Arch pub where he was promoting his "Proper Twelve" brand of whiskey.
Dublin District Court was told that the 31-year-old is to plead guilty to the offence when he returns to the the courtroom at 2pm today.
The court heard that the victim, Desmond Keogh, did not want to give a victim impact statement and has accepted an apology from "The Notorious".
CCTV footage of the alleged incident emerged in August which appeared to show a man who resembled McGregor throwing a single punch at the bar.
McGregor had purchased a bottle of his Proper Twelve whiskey and poured three shots on the bar.
After he and another man downed the drinks, the alleged victim is said to have refused the offer telling the UFC star "I don't want to drink that s***".
It was at this point the former lightweight champ allegedly struck the man.
He is facing a single assault charge which carries a fine of £1,330 or a maximum prison term of six months, or both.
Speaking about the incident previously, McGregor said: "Whatever comes my way, I will face it. Whatever comes my way, I deserve it. I will face this head on. I will not hide from it."
McGregor announced his retirement from mixed martial arts in March but has since said he will return to the octagon in January.
