Former Trump aide posts 120,000 Hunter Biden emails from laptop
EXCLUSIVE: Former Trump aide posts online a searchable database containing a huge trove of more than 120,000 emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, calling them ‘a modern day Rosetta Stone of white and blue collar crime’
- Garrett Ziegler, 26, who worked under Peter Navarro in Trump’s office of Trade and Manufacturing uploaded 128,775 emails
- Using the name Marco Polo, Ziegler described the emails as ‘a modern Rosetta Stone of white and blue collar crime’
- Included in the posts is one from Biden’s former business partner James Gilliar which talked of ‘H’ holding 10% of the equity in a Chinese deal ‘for the Big Guy’
- That has widely been assumed to mean that Joe Biden would benefit from the deal
- Nearly 15,000 emails, that DailyMail.com has verified, are missing from Ziegler’s database
More than 120,000 emails found on Hunter Biden’s discarded laptop have been posted online by a former Trump White House staffer.
Garrett Ziegler, a former aide to Peter Navarro in Donald Trump’s Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, uploaded 128,775 emails to a searchable database this week through his organization Marco Polo.
The site, BidenLaptopEmails.com, also allows users to download all the emails for Mac or Windows computers.
Among the thousands of emails in the publicly posted database is the infamous ’10 for the big guy’ message, in which Hunter’s business partner James Gilliar appeared to suggest Hunter should hold 10% of the equity in their multi-million-dollar deal with the Chinese on behalf of his father, President Joe Biden.
Another email in the database, previously published by DailyMail.com, shows Hunter describing an extraordinary apparent quid pro quo with a Mexican billionaire’s son, outlining how he got him into the White House and inauguration, and thanking him for visits to his villa.
Some messages did not appear to be included in the database. One email published by DailyMail.com shows Hunter inviting his foreign business partners and associates to a 2015 dinner at Washington DC restaurant Café Milano.
In the email he reveals that his father will secretly be joining – and says that the dinner is ‘ostensibly to discuss food security’. The White House at first denied the then-vice president was there, but eventually admitted it when photographs emerged from the event.

The Café Milano email is not among the 128,775 emails posted online by Marco Polo, which number 14,603 fewer than the 142,838 emails analyzed by cyber forensic firm Maryman & Associates last year on behalf of DailyMail.com.
In a statement on the site, Marco Polo called Biden’s laptop ‘a modern Rosetta Stone of white and blue collar crime’.
The organization describes itself as ‘a nonprofit research group exposing corruption and blackmail to drive an American renaissance’, and pursues investigations with right wing support.
‘Here are the 128k emails from the Biden Laptop, which is a modern Rosetta Stone of white and blue collar crime under the patina of “the Delaware Way,”’ the site said, referring to a term often used by Joe Biden for bipartisanship in his home state, but which has come to also mean corruption among elites.
‘Prior to the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, a number of ancient languages were mere gibberish and hash marks. Similarly, the emails on the Biden Laptop illuminated previously convoluted webs of the people you see leading the charge for global governance; truly, the emails can be considered a translation tool for Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) gathering.’
The site also pointed out that the laptop had been abandoned, in an attempt to deter being pursued by law enforcement for posting the thousands of emails online.
Former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler has posted more than 120,000 emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop
‘Having seen the lengths that the FBI and other entities in the apparatus have gone to harass citizens who expose corruption… Marco Polo testifies that the contents of the Biden Laptop were abandoned property,’ it said.
‘We do not condone, encourage, intend, or have any knowledge that any other person will or may use the information herein for any unlawful purpose. Marco Polo’s motive is to see justice delivered—to all criminals—by those whose responsibility it is to carry out that duty.’
Ziegler, 26, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
DailyMail.com had the laptop authenticated by top cyber forensics experts in spring of 2021.
The controversy around Hunter’s laptop heated up after the New York Times and Washington Post admitted in March that it was genuine, having previously attempted to link it to Russian disinformation.
Republican lawmakers are planning to launch a full-scale investigation into the alleged corruption exposed from the laptop if they gain control of Congress after the mid terms later this year.
Former Steve Bannon podcast co-host Jack Maxey, who gave DailyMail.com a copy of Hunter’s abandoned laptop early last year, had planned a similar project to post the emails online in a searchable database, but was beaten to the punch by Marco Polo.
Maxey had been working with IT experts in Switzerland since March to create a Wikileaks-style searchable database of the emails, but said he was delayed by technical difficulties.
He told DailyMail.com he wanted to ‘crowdsource’ an investigation into alleged wrongdoing by the president’s son.
‘The public needs to know what’s going on,’ Maxey said. ‘I want the world to look at this stuff and figure out what’s on there.’
The emails span from December 2009 to March 2019 – shortly before Hunter dropped off his MacBook Pro at a Delaware computer store and never returned.
The database does not include other material from Hunter’s laptop such as text messages, photos or documents.
Maxey’s colleague, a European software engineer, declined to be interviewed and asked to remain anonymous.
Maxey said a searchable database of Hunter’s emails makes it easier to locate messages on controversial topics including the president’s son’s apparent investment in a Department of Defense-funded pathogen monitoring company Metabiota, which was involved in biolabs studying deadly diseases in Ukraine.

The laptop was dropped off at a Delaware computer shop run by John Mac Isaac. When it wasn’t claimed Mac Isaac passed it on to Donald Trump’s legal team who leaked details shortly before the 2020 election
‘It was almost impossible to search in the archives. When I put in ‘Metabiota’, I came up with two emails. Now I come up with 153 of them,’ Maxey said.
Last year DailyMail.com commissioned a forensic analysis of the laptop by Maryman & Associates, whose founder Brad Maryman set up the FBI’s cyber forensics unit.
The firm found a total of 142,838 emails on the laptop, as well as 3,465 email attachments and 7,766 calendar events linked to Hunter’s email accounts.
Maxey claimed that among the emails he would be posting online are deleted or hidden messages, dug out by his IT expert colleague and previously inaccessible by users browsing the laptop.
He says he and his colleagues have found ‘450 gigabytes of deleted material’ including 80,000 images and videos and more than 120,000 archived emails.
However DailyMail.com has not yet seen any emails that were missing from Maryman and Associates’ forensic analysis.
Maxey has been working out of Zurich, Switzerland for the past month after fleeing there, saying that he feared reprisals from the US government for his exposure of the president’s son.
Earlier this month, Maxey told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview in Zurich that he feared for his life.
The infamous ’10 for the Big Guy’ email was sent to Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden
‘I came here so that we could do a forensic examination of Hunter’s laptop safely in a country that still respects human liberty and the ideals of liberal democratic principles,’ he told DailyMail.com.
‘I do not believe this would have been possible inside the United States. We had numerous attempts on us from trying to do things like this there.’
Maxey said that after contacting DailyMail.com about the laptop last year, black suburban SUVs appeared outside his house, and former US intelligence officer friends he shared copies with told him they received strange calls.
‘I showed this to a friend of mine in desperation in February [2021] because nobody would listen to me. No news organizations would take it. In fact, the very first major news organization to take it was the Daily Mail,’ he said.
‘Very dear friends of mine, the sharp tip of the spear, were making welfare calls to me every day, basically to see if I was still alive.’
Maxey claimed one former intelligence agency senior staffer told him soon after he received the hard drive in 2020: ‘If you don’t release enough of this, so that they know you can release all of it, I’m telling you brother, you’re a dead man.’
In an interview last month Maxey claimed that one of his copies of the laptop hard drive was mysteriously erased during a public meeting in Florida last year.
‘Last summer I went to do a speech. The guys who organized it were the Jewish Republicans of Boca Raton, about 800 people,’ he said.
‘I was using the laptop before I went into the hall. I took the [external hard disk] out of the computer and stuck it in my pocket. And then I was at a podium for like an hour and a half.
‘When I tried to load it up again the disk was entirely erased. It was as if nothing had ever been put on it. We couldn’t even recover anything from that disk.’
DailyMail.com was unable to verify Maxey’s claims.
It is possible to scramble and erase a drive by bringing it into close contact with a strong magnet. Intelligence experts say there are also devices that are able to emit ‘directed electromagnetic pulses’ which could have the ability to erase a portable hard drive.
