Gunman opens fire on ‘multiple people’ at student Halloween party in a California Airbnb – The Sun
A GUNMAN has opened fire at a student Halloween party in an Airbnb near Oakland, police say.
According to the Sheriff's Office, two agencies are currently investigating a mass shooting in Orinda, California.
A police tweet said: "Orinda Police Department and Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff are working a multiple shooting in Orinda.
"Investigation is active. Details coming later."
Details of casualties are unknown or whether the shooter is active.
The incident comes two days after three people were fatally shot and nine people were injured in a shooting at a Halloween party in Long Beach, California.
About 25 to 30 people had been at the party, police said.
A seven-year-old girl dressed as a bumblebee was shot in the chest last night while trick-or-treating in Chicago.
The girl was collecting candy in Little Village, on the Southwest Side, when at least one person in a group of at least three men began firing at around 5:30pm, reports claim.
