Horror as man is 'stabbed to death in Bournemouth town centre during fight' – with four men arrested for 'murder' | The Sun

FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after an 18-year-old was stabbed to death in Bournemouth town centre.

He received significant injuries following a fight in Lower Gardens park at around 1.26am on Saturday.


Tragically the man, from Bournemouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Four 18-year-old men – two from the Portsmouth area, one from Bournemouth and one from Poole – have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Forensics officers were this morning seen next to a tent outside Bobby's cultural centre on The Square.

Meanwhile a huge police cordon has shut off Lower Gardens, Gervis Place and Old Christchurch Road and will remain in place for some time, Dorset Police said.

Superintendent Gavin House, of Dorset Police, said: “Very sadly a young man has lost his life and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

“A full and detailed investigation is underway into this incident and I would urge anyone who saw what happened and has not yet spoken to officers to please contact us."
