Fortunately the car’s fall was broken by another, lower wall. However, it ended up precariously balanced at a 45 degree angle with its front bumper on the lower wall and its rear wheels up on the parapet.
Although no one was injured in the incident, the family were trapped inside the vehicle, terrified to open a door in case this made the vehicle tip sideways.
The footage then shows the firefighters on the scene helping a person in an orange jumper out of the dangling car as they held onto one of the emergency workers.
