MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow goes into quarantine after COVID-19 exposure
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is in quarantine after she came in contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The liberal host was not on the air Friday after taking a key role in the network’s coverage of the election throughout the week.
“I’ve tested negative thus far but will be at home quarantining ’til it’s safe for me to be back at work without putting anyone at risk,” she tweeted.
It’s not clear if Maddow, who hosts MSNBC’s most-watched show, is holing up in her Manhattan apartment, which she recently put up for sale, or in her home in Massachusetts’ Berkshire Mountains.
“Wishing everyone patience and calm,” she wrote in her post. “may these remarkable times bring out the best in all of us.”
