My daughter, 5, walked out of school and turned up at B&M half a mile away
A MUM has told of her fury after her five-year-old daughter walked half-a-mile alone to the B&M where she works after leaving school alone.
Talor Hartshorne was on shift at the store in Batley, West Yorkshire, last Tuesday when she suddenly spotted little Maisie Glynn.
The schoolgirl, who is in Year One, had left the grounds of of Batley Parish Junior, Infant and Nursery School during the lunch break.
And when Talor returned the youngster to classes, she learned the school hadn't even noticed Maisie was missing.
"It's disgusting to have allowed that to happen," Talor told Dewsbury Reporter.
"She's only five years old.
"It was very lucky that I was in a place that she has visited before."
Talor says she will now take her daughter out of the school altogether.
