NYPD searching for Bronx thief who ‘walked away’ with scooter
Some unlucky person lost their ride.
The NYPD is asking for help identifying an individual who “walked away” with a scooter parked on a Bronx street Monday night.
Cops on Saturday released a photo of the person who allegedly pilfered the unoccupied scooter around 10 p.m. in front of 663 River Ave.
The sticky-fingered suspect took the minibike, which belongs to a 29-year-old man, police said. The individual — who was wearing a red baseball cap, blue jacket, black pants and black sneakers — fled the scene with the scooter northbound on River Avenue.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
