Osama bin Laden’s niece says she ‘has been attacked more for supporting TRUMP than for being related to 9/11 leader’

OSAMA bin Laden's niece said that she "has been attacked more for supporting Donald Trump that being related to the 9/11 mastermind."

Noor bin Ladin confirmed that she has "lost a few so-called friends" since she endorsed the president last month.

Ladin voiced her opinions in an op-ed published on Spectator on Thursday.

"From a sociological standpoint, it is quite interesting that in some elitist circles being pro-Trump has caused me more grief than carrying the name bin Ladin," she wrote.

In a previous letter, bin Ladin confirmed that she has been a Trump supporter "since he announced he was running in the early days in 2015.

However, she now believes that "coming out publicly was a step too far for some, and the vitriol I received for stating my political beliefs revealed unflattering sides to certain characters."

Ladin goes on to list her reasons for voting for Trump, including how he "stood up to China, kept America out of new wars, solidified ties with Israel, overturned the disastrous Iran deal and obliterated Isis."

When initially endorsing Trump, the 33-year-old said she was compelled to address Americans because she is "highly distressed by the blatant erosion at various levels of your most basic individual rights and freedoms as guaranteed by your Bill of Rights, from arbitrary censorship of speech to unlawful, politically motivated abuses of justice."

She also noted that she is an "unlikely messenger at first glance," but that her "heart is in the right place."

She then went on to praise Trump as "the only leader who can save us from a bleak future."

The endorsement came after bin Ladin gave her first-ever interview and claimed that only Trump could prevent another 9/11 from happening.

Bin Ladin was just 14 years old when her uncle orchestrated the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks – which killed nearly 3,000 Americans.

Her father Yeslam bin Ladin is the older, half-brother of Osama. Her mother, Carmen Dufour, is a Swiss author, according to the New York Post.

After the 9/11 attacks, her mother penned a 2004 book about her life within the bin Laden family called, Inside the Kingdom: My Life in Saudi Arabia.

Noor and her two sisters were raised in Switzerland.
