The terrifying moment passengers flee a train as it burst into flames at a station was captured on video.
The video shows bright sparks flying from the blaze beneath the train as it slowly pulls into West Malling railway station in Kent.
Terrified passengers began hurling from the service as they ran to safety while thick smoke billowed from the carriage.
Eyewitness footage shows the giant flames flying from the beneath the carriage during yesterday afternoon’s incident.
The fire required two fire engine services to extinguish the flames after passengers were evacuated.

Fire services were called to the scene shorty after 4.00pm at West Malling railway station as giant flames emerged from the train
Lines between Swanley and Ashford International were closed as a result.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed that crews were called shortly after 4.00pm to West Malling railway station in Station Approach after reports of a fire underneath a train carriage.
‘Five fire engines and a foam unit were dispatched to the scene, where crews extinguished a small fire with dry powder,’ they said.
‘Since then, the incident has been reduced to two fire engines.
‘The train and surrounding area were evacuated as a precaution, but no injuries were reported.
‘People travelling on the affected railway line are likely to experience delays. For any travel updates, please follow Southeastern Railway.’
Trains between Otford and Maidstone East were unable to run.

Although a number of people were caught panickily evacuating the train, thankfully no one was injured at the incident
However, shortly before 8 p.m., Southeastern issued an update stating that the train had been cleared and Network Rail staff were inspecting the line.
The 7.55pm service from Victoria to Ashford was scheduled to run as usual via Maidstone East.
There was a limited shuttle service between Maidstone East and Ashford, with services diverted via Paddock Wood or cancelled.
Southeastern said that power to the track on both lines had been turned off for safety reasons.
‘We’ve been advised of a fire onboard a train at West Malling,’ a spokesman for the company said.
‘The track power on both lines has been turned off for safety.
‘Response personnel are on the scene, and the passengers have been evacuated from the train.
‘The fire has been extinguished, but the train is currently unable to move and is blocking the line; maintenance personnel are investigating.’
