Police launch urgent search for missing teenager, 19, who disappeared after leaving her family home three days ago
- Lucy Candlish, 19, has not been seen since leaving her family home in Blackhill
- She was last seen arguing with a friend over the phone at 5.30pm on Sunday
- Durham Constabulary said teenager was wearing a blue and white shirt jacket
- Lucy, a carer, failed to attend work or return home on Monday morning
The search today continued for a 19-year-old carer who disappeared after arguing with a friend over the phone.
Lucy Candlish, 19, has not been seen since leaving her family home in Blackhill, Durham, at around 5.30pm on Sunday.
Durham Constabulary said the teenager was wearing a blue and white shirt jacket, black jeans and black Sketcher trainers.
She is described as being around 5ft 6ins with blue eyes and blonde hair, had her hair tied in a bun and was not wearing any make up.

Lucy, who works as a carer, failed to attend work or return home on Monday morning and the police were contacted.
Officers have issued appeals to the public in a bid to try and track Lucy down.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary confirmed on Wednesday that she remains missing.
Speaking on behalf of the family, her sister Beverley Candlish pleaded with Lucy to ‘just come home’.

Family members and neighbours have searched the local area over the past two days in the hope of finding any information.
In a direct plea to Lucy, Beverley said: ‘Just come home. You’re not in trouble, just please come home.’
Durham Constabulary asked anyone who has seen Lucy to contact Consett response on 101.
