This is the amazing moment that Will Smith stays in character as the Genie from Aladdin while talking to two little girls on the red carpet – before inviting them to ‘come meet Princess Jasmine’.
The video, filmed at the Los Angeles premiere of the film last week, shows the girls – Mila and twin sister Emma Stauffer, 4 – talking to Smith from behind the fan barrier.
When they tell him that they have not yet met ‘Princess Jasmine’, who is played by Naomi Scott in the film, Smith lets them come on to the red carpet to meet her.

The brilliant moment starts with Mila asking Smith, ‘where’s your magic?’.
Smith then stays in character, replying: ‘When I’m out in public, I can’t use my magic because people cannot know I am a genie.
‘So I have to pretend I am a regular person when I am in public because people get scared of genies and stuff like that.’
Pointing to the girls and himself, he then adds: ‘We know what it is, but I just can’t show it in public.’
When Mila then asks where his ‘friends’ are, Smith replies, ‘have you met Princess Jasmine?’
When they say they haven’t, he invites the girls underneath the red rope so they can meet her.
When they tell him that they have not yet met ‘Princess Jasmine’, who is played by Naomi Scott in the film, Smith lets them come on to the red carpet to meet her. ‘Do you guys want to come and meet Princess Jasmine? Sure, come with me, come and meet Princess Jasmine,’ he says
‘Oh you didn’t see her? Do you guys want to come and meet Princess Jasmine? Sure, come with me, come and meet Princess Jasmine.’
The girls’ mother, Katie Stauffer, who is filming, then lets the girls go and meet Ms Scott.
Ms Stauffer runs the family’s instagram page, @kcstauffer, which has 3.9million followers.

The girls are frequently seen in videos and cheeky poses on both the family’s account and their own pages, while Mila’s filmed rants have become an internet hit.
The video was later posted on Facebook and has been watched more than a million times.
The new Aladdin film, which is based on Disney’s much loved 1992 animated version, also stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Marwan Kenzari as villain Jafar.
Although earning mixed reviews from critics, the film has been a hit at the box office, and took in £68milion in its opening weekend earlier this month.
