Heartbreaking final performance of Ariana Grande and the late Mac Miller

The last time Ariana Grande performed in Manchester was alongside her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

It will be an emotional return for the Sweetener singer, It will be the first appearance in the city since the One Love Manchester tribute concert following the terrorist bomb attack at her gig on May 22, 2017.

Ariana put on the star-studded concert to raise funds for the victims of the terrorist attack in the city a month later.

Mac, who dated Ariana for two years before they split, joined his then-girlfriend on stage where they performed a song together.

They put on a loved-up performance at the benefit concert which delighted fans, before he went on to perform a solo track.

Mac was sadly found dead aged 26 in September 2018 of an overdose, leaving Ariana heartbroken.

Mac and Ariana split in May 2018, citing their busy schedules for the reason, and she has paid several tributes to him in the months following his tragic death .

A week after his death she wrote alongside a clip of him about to tell her a story: "I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will."

A few months later the pop star released Thank U, Next, with many fans speculating that the track Imagine was about the rapper.


As she returned to stage for her world tour earlier this year Ariana has paid tribute to her beloved ex, by playing a playlist of his songs before the show began.

She cried on stage when she performed in his home town of Pittsburgh, US, singing a lyric believed to be about him.

Ariana has spoken in the past about her own mental health, dealing with the Manchester tragedy and subsequent the death of Mac, real name Malcolm McCormick.
